Instrumental Teaching Open Afternoon
On the first day of term, Thursday 27th August there will be an Instrumental Teaching Open Afternoon from 3.30pm – 6pm in the Gibson building. This will be an opportunity for all pupils at Dollar Academy to come and meet our visiting instrumental teachers and to learn more about the various instruments on offer. Parents of pupils already having lessons or just about to start lessons are also very welcome to attend. It will be an excellent opportunity to have an informal chat with your child’s teacher and to have a look around the department.
Parents’ Evenings/Informal Concerts
This session parents’ evenings will be arranged in instrument groups: Piano, Strings, Woodwind, Brass, Percussion and Guitar. The evenings will take the form of a short appointment time and an opportunity to hear some informal pupil performances.
