Senior School Drama Club
A popular activity for Form I and II pupils. Every Tuesday after school pupils take part in scripted and improvised activities for the sheer enjoyment of performance. The club helps them become more aware of how to express themselves verbally and physically as well as improve their self-confidence by performing in front of small groups. Finally, apart from the fun of acting, it will help those pupils interested in taking part in the school productions, to prepare for the audition process.
Dramatic productions are staged by each year group in the school’s dedicated Studio Theatre at various points throughout the year. Opportunities exist for involvement both on and off stage: acting, stage design, sound and lighting, front of house, make-up and costume and publicity are all areas in which pupils may take part.
