A fun and engaging way to build confidence and develop acting skills, Drama is a much-loved activity amongst pupils, staff and those proud family and friends who come along witness our performances.
Pupils can get involved from as early as Junior School, with a lunchtime club that’s aimed at helping them find their feet and develop their voice in a group scenario. Similarly in the Senior School Form I/II Drama Club lets its members discover the sheer enjoyment of performance, whilst helping teach them how to express themselves verbally and physically. Form I and Form II also have their own productions each year in the summer term.
The Senior School Play takes place at the end of November, this major performance is a showcase of talent for Senior pupils who produce, direct and perform. Recent productions have included Much Ado About Nothing, Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off by Liz Lochhead and Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.

Such productions have room for the creative and technically gifted too, with behind the scenes roles in lighting, sound, costume, stage management, front of house, make-up and props.
