What Makes Us Special

Our focus is very much on encouraging the individual talents, interests and ambitions of all our pupils.  There are opportunities for every child at Dollar and each is provided with a positive and supportive environment in which to shine.

What We Think is Important:

nullEnjoyment of learning lies at the heart of this school, and the aim is for all pupils to gain satisfaction from a real commitment to study. Expectations are high at Dollar Academy. We believe that young people rise to a challenge and flourish in a culture of ambition.

Dollar has a great academic reputation but a truly excellent education is about far more than that.  We believe that activities out of class time are just as significant in the development of young people, and we pride ourselves on the great range of activities on offer to our pupils.  This, together with the positive and friendly atmosphere, helps our pupils to develop the self-confidence, social skills and character that can contribute so much to success and happiness in later life.

We are a well-resourced nullschool. The campus and facilities at Dollar Academy are very well-equipped, our teaching is excellent and our boarding facilities are first class.   We are committed to providing the best possible environment for our pupils and we ensure that they all have access to the resources available.

This focus on quality is also very apparent in the particular approach we take towards looking after our pupils.  Our staff are supportive and attentive to the aspirations and happiness of every child. We offer a very high level of care.
